The Challenge Senior Managers of Engineering at OneTrust make long-term strategic and technical contributions. They set strategic goals for the team, hire and develop engineers, and prioritize projects that create meaningful customer and business impact. They remain technically engaged—helping develop new products, identify requirements, and execute with excellence. As a Senior Manager on the AI Governance Engineering team, you will lead the development of OneTrust’s next-generation AI Governance platform. You will help turn complex governance, compliance, security, and responsible AI requirements into scalable products that enable organizations to confidently build, evaluate, deploy, and operate AI models and agents. This is an opportunity to shape a high-impact product area at the intersection of AI, enterprise software, and trust. Your Mission Drive strategic planning and execution while developing key technologies that strengthen OneTrust’s long-term, proprietary strategic position in AI Governance. Create new concepts from initial design through market release, establish a strong engineering culture, and lead teams that deliver reliable, secure, and extensible AIG capabilities at enterprise scale. You Are Experienced overseeing end-to-end development activities while monitoring the reliability, security, and performance of internal systems and recommending improvements when required. Able to translate AI governance, compliance, and responsible AI needs into clear product requirements, technical strategy, and execution plans. Able to ensure compliance with security regulations while managing software development projects by setting requirements, goals, and timelines. Designing strategies for future development projects based on the company’s overall objectives and resource availability. Implementing innovative technologies and architectural patterns for AI model and agent governance. Coordinating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including Product, Security, Compliance, and customer-facing teams. Providing technical oversight and hands-on leadership to your team, while staying close enough to the technology to guide critical decisions. Ensuring projects are delivered according to schedule without compromising quality, reliability, or customer trust. Good at finding opportunities to improve development processes, engineering productivity, and operational excellence. Experienced building onboarding and mentoring programs to teach and train other engineers in order to incubate individual and team growth. Comfortable leading through ambiguity and balancing short-term delivery with long-term platform investments. Your Experience Includes Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. 12+ years of engineering experience with a strong track record of successful development and delivery of complex, enterprise-class software that results in material market impact. Recent experience in development, operations, troubleshooting, and managing teams. Understanding of how to operate in a DevOps model. Experience with the AI agent ecosystem and deployment platforms such as Agent Core, Amazon Bedrock, Microsoft Foundry, and Google Vertex AI. Proven critical thinking and advanced analytical skills and qualities. Strong consulting skills and tactful conflict management skills. Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive. System design and architecture experience.
