About the Role As a Sales Analyst your primary and biggest focus areas will be to support our sales teams and share of shelf advice for our largest large format customers. The role contains various of tasks where you’ll be leading projects in with canada’s retailers, assess category data , develop presentations and analyze data based on Nielsen /SPINS data as well as retailer data portals. Review New POG assortment, analyze data that requires necessary recommendations and or changes, review all retailer portals and present analysis on performance and market share. Create sales presentations with competitive data and create opportunities for sales teams to present business cases. Work with retailer dashboards and implement new item set up as well as managing all retailer data portals. Job Responsibilities: Support new product and new retailer launches, including administrative support, POG assessments, and recommendations based on retailer and Nielsen data. Provide new product launch recommendations and analyze category performance within the set using data from retailer portals. Manage daily administrative tasks to support the functionality and coordination of the analyst role and ongoing data analysis. Effectively manage and organize category data and information, ensuring all files and presentation decks are accurate and up to date. Conduct weekly POS data analysis across all major retailers and manage retailer dashboards. Manage new item forms and retailer portals, ensuring accurate and timely information. Update and build new product presentations to support sales team efforts. Manage new item data and provide ongoing support throughout product launches. What you will need to succeed: 3–5+ years of category management experience; experience within the CPG industry is a plus. Data Analyst background is considered an asset. Strong knowledge of data capture, POG assortment, and MOD software. Strong experience with category data and reporting tools, including Nielsen, SPINS, IRI, and other category data platforms. Strong experience with dashboard creation, software assessment, data consolidation, and market intelligence support, including Retail Link, LDIA, and similar retailer platforms. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, POG management tools, and retail POG software. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines. Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority in a fast-paced business environment. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt as the business grows and evolves. Independent thinker and self-starter who can manage workload with minimal supervision while keeping senior management informed of key issues and developments. Strong communication and responsiveness when working with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Ability to provide executive leadership with relevant business information and insights to support decision-making.
