Role details
What you’ll be doing
At Scale, we develop reliable AI systems for the world's most important decisions. Some of our deepest partnerships are with US government agencies, where we're helping transform operations, accelerate decision advantage, and drive modernization that improves the lives of everyday Americans. Scale's US Public Sector GTM team is responsible for developing and executing the strategies that build trust and grow product adoption of transformative Scale's agentic AI solutions. This role sits at the intersection of product marketing, content production, and the GTM team’s growth strategy, and reports to Scale's Principal Product Marketing Manager for US Public Sector. We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to drive the go-to-market messaging, product launches, and amplification programs for Scale's Agentic and Data solutions, targeting mission owners and Line of Business executives in U.S. federal civilian agencies. This role is strategic, hands-on, and creative: you will act as a bridge between Scale US Public Sector GTM, product, and marketing teams, turning complex, high-stakes AI projects into high-visibility success stories. Day to day, you will lead the product, customer, and brand awareness initiatives that help the team enter new Fedciv market segments and penetrate priority accounts. The ideal candidate pairs strong product marketing skills and storytelling instincts with the judgment and strategic mindset needed to own marketing for the federal civilian segment, shape the market, and build awareness and demand from the ground up. You will: Produce the Content That Tells Our Story: Create the case studies, one-pagers, solution briefs, thought leadership eBooks, web copy, and presentations that turn Scale's complex, technical work into clear, compelling narratives. Support Product & Customer Marketing: Develop and customize messaging, positioning, and collateral so they resonate with agency-specific missions and mission owners. Support Launches & Campaigns: Drive the materials and copy behind new solutions, offerings, and campaigns as we bring them to market. Support Market Entry: Partner with the GTM sales leadership and engineering teams to own and support go-to-market in new federal civilian segments, contributing the content, enablement, and campaign execution that turn strategy into pipeline. Create Alignment: Partner across GTM sales, product, and delivery to gather input, keep projects moving, and ensure our external voice reflects what's true and differentiated about our work. Measure Impact: Track content and campaign performance in partnership with cross-functional teams. Partner with Comms and Events: Work with our global communications team and customers' PR arms to secure media placements and speaking opportunities for joint initiatives. Ideally you'd have: 6+ years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably within B2G (Business-to-Government), targeting federal civilian accounts Storytelling Excellence: A proven track record of marketing to mission owners, and turning technical deployments into compelling human-centric or national-impact narratives. Autonomy & Velocity: Ability to thrive in a high-velocity environment where you must manage senior stakeholders independently. Collaboration Skills: Ability to work across functions (Sales, CS, and Product) to get the information you need and earn trust. Nice to haves: Experience marketing AI/ML cloud infrastructure or data services. Partner marketing experience supporting government teams. Hands-on experience building and managing content, account-based marketing, and broader lead generation campaigns.
